STRENGTHENING
COMMUNITIES
Aside from continuing to build on the 2024 achievements in our four Mission Impact
areas, new B Corp goals for continuous improvement in 2025 include:
We engaged in enriching
programs including the Hip
Hop Architecture scholarship,
the Public Industry Council
internships, and the PAVE
scholarship. We aim to increase
our involvement in similar
programs.
We increased our use of volunteer
hours by 56% over 2023 and we
aim to continue this trend. We
developed a formal quarterly
primary volunteer opportunity
structure for all three o昀케ces.
ENVIRONMENTAL
STEWARDSHIP
SUPPORTING
ORGANIZATIONS
We continued our AIA 2030
reporting and for the 昀椀rst time
submitted 昀椀rm-level data to
the AIA A&D Materials Pledge
database, one of only 89 昀椀rms to
do so. We also signed pledges
to reduce the use of PFAS in our
speci昀椀cations, and worked to
make our lighting designs and
speci昀椀cations more energy and
resource e昀케cient.
Our work with Parallel
Sustainability on the Bergmeyer+
program continued to ramp up,
and we have two potentially
large projects starting in 2024.
We completed one pro bono
project, and nearly 60% of our
o昀케ce participated in our Annual
Charitable Giving Match program.

WHAT ARE OUR GOALS FOR 2025?
Increasing health and well-being for our
Boston sta昀昀 by benchmarking environmental
performance in our Boston o昀케ce. To 昀椀rmly
understand energy, indoor environment, and other
昀氀ow metrics we will use LEED for Commercial
Interiors, WELL, Living Building Challenge, Passive
House, and/or other sustainability measurement
tools.
Continuing the spirit of professional generosity in
the communities we serve, we will develop a formal
pro bono application policy and procedures.
To build stronger connections with diverse suppliers
and consultants, we will prioritize companies
owned and operated by underrepresented or
marginalized groups when performing in-house
project work, as well as purchasing and procurement
arrangements.
