2025 Boston Private
Industry Council Interns
The Boston Private Industry Council – also
known as the PIC – is the city’s workforce
development board, appointed by Mayor
Michelle Wu, and its school-to-career
intermediary organization. As a non-pro昀椀t,
the PIC works with companies and priority
populations to create summer employment
opportunities for Boston public high school
students to explore future career paths.
This past summer we partnered once
again with the Boston Private Industry
Council (PIC) and the Boston Society for
Architecture welcoming Nicolas Grady,
Shiloh Mcleod-Dunkelly, and Vivian Liang
to our Design Collaborative for a sixweek immersive experience. Under the
mentorship of Director of Education
and Training and PIC Board member
Bill Spaulding and our sta昀昀, the interns
contributed to active projects, tackled real
design challenges, and delivered high-level
presentations that re昀氀ected both their
creativity and growth. We look forward to
participating in the program again in 2026.
