Pro Bono Project Highlights
Boston Lyric Opera
Bergmeyer has partnered with Boston Lyric Opera (BLO) to reimagine its administrative
space as a place where creativity and craft quietly support the artistry seen on stage. The
goal is to create a workplace that re昀氀ects the organization’s mission while better supporting
the people who bring each production to life behind the scenes.
Working closely with BLO leadership and sta昀昀, Bergmeyer developed a deep understanding
of how teams collaborate, focus, and move through their day. These insights informed a
balanced environment: open and connected where collaboration thrives, and more intimate
where concentration, conversation, and con昀椀dentiality are essential.
Bergmeyer provided targeted design support within BLO’s performance spaces focused on
aligning materials, 昀椀nishes, and spatial moments so that sta昀昀, artists, and visitors experience
a cohesive identity throughout the organization’s spaces, from o昀케ce to performance.
The results are 昀氀exible, expressive workplace and performance spaces that reinforce BLO’s
evolving identity, strengthening the foundation behind every performance while honoring the
experience of those who make it possible.
CIDIE Standard Branding
The Community-Informed Design for Innovative Environments (CIDIE) Standard™ is a
building certi昀椀cation program developed by the CIDIE Lab to translate community insights
into tangible design solutions. CIDIE works with a small group of Founding Impact Partners,
including Bergmeyer, who contribute expertise, resources, and in-kind support to help shape
the program.
In 2025, CIDIE CEO Victoria Lanteigne began working with Bergmeyer’s Graphics and
Branding team to re-envision the CIDIE brand. Together, the CIDIE Lab and Bergmeyer are
developing the branding and storytelling for CIDIE v1, scheduled for release in November
2026, to bring CIDIE’s mission and vision to a broader audience.
