2025 Updates
Our 2025 Sustainability Action Plan
articulates Bergmeyer’s sustainability
vision and its alignment with our B Corp
commitments. Organized around two
focus areas; O昀케ce Operations & Policy
and Design Process & Approach, the plan
includes initiatives already underway with
additional actions launching in 2026.
Establish a comprehensive 2026 baseline for Scope
1, 2, and 3 emissions, including operations, travel, and
food purchases.
■ Target zero solid waste by 2030 through year-overyear reductions in printing, packaging, trash, recycling,
and food waste.
■ Increase the number of sustainability-accredited
professionals through LEED, WELL, TRUE, and other
certi昀椀cation programs.

Embed sustainability-centered design thinking across
our practice through expanded research, education,
and client engagement.
Implement practice-area–speci昀椀c material
transparency strategies aligned with Common
Materials Framework (CMF) goals and B Corp
priorities, including continued support for and
engagement with mindful MATERIALS.
Expand the use of project-based carbon reduction
and well-being strategies across all practice areas.
Grow Bergmeyer+ and other sustainability-focused
services to support client ESG, climate, and social
impact goals.
